Accessibility

Care you can actually reach.

We want every patient to be able to read, book, and shop on this site. If something gets in the way, tell us and we will help you another way the same day.

Effective October 7, 2026. Questions: info@discovherhealth.com or (202) 394-3849.

Our aim

DiscovHER Health LLC wants this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That means text can be resized, pages work with a keyboard, buttons have names, images that carry information have text alternatives, and color is not the only way we communicate.

The clinic itself is at 113 Oronoco St, Alexandria, VA 22314. If you need an accommodation for an in-person visit, call (202) 394-3849 before you arrive and we will arrange it. Virtual visits are available in the states listed on the booking page.

How the site is built

  • Pages use headings in order, a skip link to the main content, and visible keyboard focus.
  • The menu, search, bag, and forms are available from the keyboard.
  • Product photos, article images, and podcast thumbnails include text alternatives. Decorative shapes do not add extra noise for a screen reader.
  • Videos on the podcast page do not start until you choose to play them.
  • We do not rely on color alone for price, errors, or status.

Known limits

A few parts of the experience are provided by other companies, and we do not control every detail of their screens:

  • The appointment scheduler that opens from BookHER.
  • Store checkout, where payment is completed.
  • YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify, when you leave this site to watch or listen.
  • Some older Journal articles that were migrated from the previous website may contain headings or links we are still cleaning up.

If one of those screens is a barrier, we will complete the task with you by phone or email.

Tell us about a barrier

Email info@discovherhealth.com or call (202) 394-3849. Please include the page address and what you were trying to do. We treat accessibility requests with the same priority as a blocked checkout. You can also ask for this page, a Journal article, or a form in a different format.

We welcome reports from patients using screen readers, magnifiers, voice control, and keyboards alone. A report will not affect your care.

Formal complaints

If we do not resolve a website barrier, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division, or the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights. We would rather fix it first. Write to us and give us a reasonable chance to respond.
