What to do before and after treatment?
Pre-Treatment
- Avoid aspirin, anti-inflammatory medications such as ibuprofen, herbal supplements, Vitamin E, and Fish Oil at least one week before your treatment day if permitted to minimize bruising risks.
- Avoid using retinol products, topical antibiotics, exfoliants, etc. 48 hours before your Morpheus8 treatment.
- Avoid sun exposure or tanning (including tanning beds and self-tanning products) for 24 hours before the treatment.
Post-Treatment
- Avoid direct sun exposure.
- Wear SPF sunscreen in the treatment area everyday.
- Avoid touching the treated area for the first 48 hours, and if you do, make sure your hands are thoroughly clean.
- Always keep the treatment area moisturized.
- Makeup can be applied 1-2 days after the treatment.
- On the first day, ice packs or cool compresses can be used to relieved discomfort and swelling.
- Apply healing ointment or antibiotic ointment, immediately post-treatment for 1-3 days.
